Reports this morning have suggested that Rangers captain James Tavernier is 'not for sale' amid speculation linking him with a move to West Ham.
David Moyes is a keen admirer of the full-back and has kept tabs on him over the past two transfer windows.
The Hammers are looking to add reinforements in defensive areas, but the Daily Record report today that if the London based side come swooping for Tavenier then Gers will issue a firm stance that he is not for sale.
Meanwhile, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has revealed that Cedric Itten is a major doubt as the Light Blues welcome Galatasaray to Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday.
The striker netted two at the weekend against Motherwell and looked in contention for a start in Europe this week.
But his manager has revealed that he knee issue could rule him out.
Gerrard gave an injury update this morning, saying: "Joe Aribo and Kemar Roofe won't make it but are progressing well.
"Ryan Jack and Brandon Barker are both back in full training. Itten is a major doubt as he is a small issue with his knee."
