CELTIC have the chance to progress to the group stages of the Europa League when they face Sarajevo in a one-legged play-off tonight.

The Hoops beat the Bosnian side 5-2 on aggregate during their Champions League qualification campaign last year.

Below, we pick our Herald and Times starting 11 for the encounter.

Glasgow Times:

Vasilis Barkas

The Greek stopper has impressed since arriving in the summer and is unquestionably Neil Lennon’s number one choice in between the sticks.

Christopher Julien

The big defender missed the win over Hibs at the weekend, but you would expect him to start this evening.

Shane Duffy

The defender has slotted into the back three comfortably since arriving on loan from Brighton. He is also a real goal threat at set pieces, having scored twice since arriving at Parkhead.

Kris Ajer

The Norwegian has been linked heavily with some of Europe’s top clubs and for good reason. His ability to bring the ball out of defence is crucial in Celtic’s system.

Jermaine Frimpong

The 19-year-old has been in and out of the starting 11 this season, but James Forrest’s injury picked up in the previous round means Frimpong will start. His inclusion gives Celtic greater defence balance than Forrest would on the right.

Ryan Christie

Christie is a mainstay in the Celtic midfield, and in the 3-5-2 is given freedom to roam and link with the front two.

Scott Brown

Arguably the first name on the team sheet for any match, and especially a European one. He will need to be on top form to ensure Celtic don’t suffer another European qualifying defeat.

Callum McGregor

Has scarcely missed a game for Celtic in recent years and is unlikely to tonight. He’s in good form following a goal at the weekend.

Greg Taylor

It will be a big night for Taylor who still seems to have aa number of fans to win over. With Celtic still in the market for a left sided player, a strong performance is just what the Scotland defender needs.

Mohamed Elyounoussi

Spared Celtic’s blushes in the previous round and scored at the weekend. His manager has spoken of his goal against Riga as kick starting his form.

Odsonne Edouard

Didn’t start at the weekend so should be extra fresh for tonight’s game. His performance will be key o Celtic’s progression.
