MLS co-commentator Ray Hudson could barely contain his excitement between Higuain and Morgan saying: "This combination here, better than Lennon and McCartney - and this is their 'Hey Jude'. What a goal from the Artful Dodger, accurate as a knife thrower in the circus from Lewis Morgan. It is a catapult that bursts the net and bursts the heart of anyone that loves football. That is a world-class finish."
An Inter Miami fan account tweeted: "Lewis Morgan for President" while a Celtic fan account on social media tweeted: "Just Lewis Morgan celebrating with Higuain after scoring a double... 2020, eh?"
