Celtic had been bracing themselves for a potential incoming bid for Tom Rogic, but there has been no contact from any clubs for the player this deadline day.
The Australian playmaker looked likely to depart earlier this window with an unnamed Qatari side offering £4million for his services. Rogic, back in early September, failed to agree terms with the club but it was expected the same side would return to try and entice him to move.
Sources close to the player have told Herald and Times Sport, however, that there have been no fresh bids for Rogic ahead of this evening's deadline, and the Scottish champions will likely be relieved.
Rogic, 27, struggled somewhat for fitness last season and has not been able this term to force his way into Neil Lennon's first team plans as of yet.
He did, however, come off the bench last weekend as the Hoops struggled to a win over St Johnstone. The midfielder still has three years on his contract at Parkhead.
