CELTIC have confirmed the signing of AC Milan wing-back Diego Laxalt on a one-year loan.
The Uruguay internationalist is Neil Lennon's sixth summer signing after permanent deals were concluded for Albian Ajeti, David Turnbull and Vasilis Barkas, while Shane Duffy and Moi Elyounoussi joined on loan from Brighton and Southampton respectively.
The 27-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Bologna and made six appearances for the Rossoneri after returning to Milan, most of them via the substitute's bench.
There will be one familiar face in the Parkhead dressing room for Laxalt, who played alongside Olivier Ntcham at Genoa while the French midfielder was on loan at the Serie A club from Manchester City.
