Rangers have confirmed three of their first-team stars have been left out of their Europa League group stage squad.
A lack of homegrown players have forced manager Steven Gerrard into a handful of changes as his squad has been cut to just 21 players. That has prevented the boss bringing along with him some big names.
Jermain Defoe, Jordan Jones and defender George Edmundson will not be involved against Benfica, Lech Poznan and Standard Liege.
Meanwhile new signing Bongani Zungu has been added to the squad list as well as injured Joe Aribo.
Full squad list:
Allan McGregor, McLaughlin, Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Balogun, Barisic, Bassey, Jack, Hagi, Davis, Kent, Zungu, Aribo, Arfield, Kamara, Stewart, Itten, Barker, Morelos, Roofe.
