Celtic's Karamoko Dembele has shown support for former teammate Charly Musonda after he was told a horror knee injury could end his career.

The former loanee from Chelsea joined Parkhead for one season before his deal was cut short through injury and a lack of game time.

But that did not prevent him making pals during his time in Glasgow and Dembele offered a message of friendship after hearing the news.

Glasgow Times:

Posting on his social media page, Dembele accompanied a snap of Musonda with a simple message: "Stay strong brother!" and a love heart emoji. Winger Musonda, just 23-years-old, first injured his knee on loan at Real Betis in 2016 and aggravated the injury while at Vitesse Arnhem.

The Belgian has reportedly been told he has a 20 percent chance of ever pulling on a pair of boots again full-time, but he is optimistic and posted a defiant message on social media, determined to play once more.

Musonda played just eight times for Celtic, including just three starts in all competitions under Brendan Rodgers in six months before he was allowed to leave.
