A HOST of Ibrox heroes past and present will join forces to raise money for good causes in a virtual event next month.

The Rangers Charity Foundation have launched their ‘Simply The Best Night In’ that will be live streamed to supporters on Saturday, November 7.

Legendary boss Walter Smith will take part in a Q&A alongside the likes of Michael Mols, Arthur Numan, Ian Durrant and Alex Rae as members of Steven Gerrard’s Gers squad also feature.

The night - with tickets costing £25 - will be hosted by broadcaster Emma Dodds and musical entertainment will be provided by Glasgow rock band Saint Phnx.

The Rangers Charity Foundation have been at the heart of the local community throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and all funds raised will go towards the programmes that the Foundation operate across Scotland.

RCF Director Connal Cochrane said: “This truly is a chance for the Rangers Family from right around the world to come together and have some fun, at a time when we feel so far apart.

“With so many fundraising events having to be cancelled this year, including our much loved Charity Ball, we’ve had to get creative and, together with our friends at Rangers FC, look forward to hosting our first ever live streamed event.

“No matter where in the world you are, we hope that you will join us for what is set to be a momentous night for the Foundation and Rangers fans alike!”
