Jozo Simunovic is NOT on AC Milan's transfer radar, according to reports.
German publication Hamburger Morgenpost recently claimed the former Celtic star was on the Serie A side's shortlist as they hunt for central defensive cover.
However reliable Italian sports reporter Daniele Longo has ruled out the notion and insists there is nothing to the rumours.
It comes after Simunovic was not offered a new contract at Parkhead and allowed to leave the club back in May. He had spent around five years in Glasgow after signing from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015. He had the option of an extra year being triggered on his contract but the club opted against it.

Upon his departure, Celtic released a statement saying: "Celtic Football Club today offered sincere best wishes to Jozo Simunovic and Jonny Hayes as it was announced they will be leaving the club.
"The club has decided not to take a further year-long option in relation to Jozo's contract, and Jonny's Celtic contract finishes at the end of this month. Jozo joined Celtic in 2015, making 125 appearances for the Club and scoring five goals, including an emotional and poignant winner against Kilmarnock in April last year following the sad passing of Celtic legend, Billy McNeill."
Simunovic, 26, made over 115 appearances and lifted five league titles, three Scottish Cups and three league cups.
Milan have recently been linked with another Celt, Kris Ajer, but were denied by the Scottish champions when they approached with an offer this summer.
