Celtic's Odsonne Edouard will miss Thursday evening's Europa League opener with AC Milan.
The French striker missed last weekend's Rangers derby at Parkhead after testing positive for Covid-19 on international duty. He raced back to Glasgow in a bid to potentially make the game but, after assessments, was forced to sit out.
Now the player is expected to go through more protocols and testing ahead of this weekend's Aberdeen game at Pittodrie - meaning the Milan fixture will come too soon for the player.
Ryan Christie will be available for the European game after missing Gers through 'close contact' with coronavirus on Scotland duty. Stuart Armstrong tested positive for the deadly virus, and Christie was forced out by Scottish government ruling.
