Rangers will be brimming with confidence as they head to Belgium to play Standard Liege this week.

The Light Blues managed a dominant win over their fierce rivals Celtic last weekend, scoring twice and keeping the Hoops at bay in one of the most convincing Old Firm win in recent years.

Europa League football is, of course, a different prospect entirely but Gers made it to the last-16 last season and will be hoping to do so again. But is the game on TV? What channel can we watch it on? What is the team news?

Here's all you need to know.

When and where is the game taking place?

Rangers make the trip to Belgium where they'll play Standard Liege at Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

Kick-off is at 5.55pm.

Is the game on TV?

Yes it is.

BT Sport will have live coverage of the match on BT Sport 3 from 5.30pm on Thursday evening.

You can also watch the game on BT Sport App, or alternatively you can keep up-to-date with all live action in our blog on site.

Team news

The game could come too soon for Kemar Roofe who missed Celtic derby on Saturday last week. However he has been training with the Gers first-team and could feature on the bench.

Joe Aribo came off the bench for the Light Blues against Celts last weekend after a lengthy spell out of action and could be involved in some capacity.

Standard Liege are without three players. Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Nicolas Raskin, Moussa Sissako and goalkeeper coach Jan Van Steenberghe tested positive for Covid 19.
