Former Celtic defender Mark Wilson has been sacked as manager of Brechin City.
The 36-year-old was relieved of his duties along with assistant Simon Donnelly after a poor start to the League Two season. His side have lost the opening two games of the league campaign.
City also shipped six goals in the Betfred Cup to Dundee United and then seven goals against St Johnstone.
Wilson leaves the club after 13 months in charge.
Brechin provided a short statement on their website this morning. "Brechin City announce that Manager Mark Wilson and Assistant Manager Simon Donnelly have been released from their contracts and have left the Club with immediate effect," it read.
"The Club would like to thank Mark and Simon for their service and will now commence the search for a new Management Team."
