Celtic captain Scott Brown will not be punished by the SFA over an alleged incident in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Aberdeen.
The Hoops skipper was facing an anxious sweat after appearing to catch Scott Wright with an elbow as he shielded the ball during the Premiership clash at Pittodrie.
SFA compliance officer Clare Whyte was set to take a closer look at the moment in question but Herald and Times Sport understands no action will be taken against the 35-year-old.
Meanwhile Celtic boss Neil Lennon insists there is 'no justification whatsoever' for calls to sack him after a bad week in charge.
Celts lost 2-0 to Rangers before a loss in Europa League action against AC Milan and then the draw with Dons. But Lennon bit back after some sections of the support called for his departure: "There’s no justification at the moment for me to be sacked, none whatsoever," he said.
