Celtic target Bright Osayi-Samuel was left out of last night's QPR clash with Barnsley after rejecting a new deal.
The attacking winger had been offered new terms on a lengthy contract but opted against signing it in a bid to land a move elsewhere.
Celts have previously been linked with a potential £5million move for the player but decided instead to bring in Albian Ajeti this summer. But with Osayi-Samuel out of contract in June, the Hoops could potentially swoop again, this time landing him on a pre-contract in January for free.
Head of recruitment at Parkhead, Gary Penrice, is believed to have recommended the player to Neil Lennon after having taken him to QPR back in 2017.
The 22-year-old has played eight times this season, scoring just once.
