RANGERS can make it three wins out of three in the group stages of this year's Europa League with victory over Benfica in Lisbon tonight.

The Portuguese giants should provide stiff opposition this evening and also have six points to their name after the first two games of the competition.

Jorge Jesus' side are currently second in Portugal's top flight and have a squad packed full of internationals, and should be difficult opposition for Rangers to overcome.

Here, we have a look at the players Steven Gerrard has at his disposal and predict the Ibrox boss' starting line-up for tonight's game.

Allan McGregor

The No. 1 shot-stopper at Ibrox plays when he's fit and it's hard to look past the veteran goalkeeper for tonight's game. McGregor has a wealth of experience of playing in European competition and is a steady presence between the sticks for Gerrard.

Borna Barisic

One of the first names on Gerrard's team sheet at the moment. The Croatian left-back has the unenviable task of shackling Benfica winger Pizzi, who scored 18 goals and provided 12 assists in the Portuguese league last season, while providing his trademark deliveries into the area at the other end.

Filip Helander

The big Swede played the full 90 minutes against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park at the weekend and had an important role as the men from Ibrox recorded another clean sheet. The 27-year-old hasn't featured in either of Rangers' group stage games so far but took part in the qualifying round wins over Willem II and Galatasaray.

Connor Goldson

Gerrard's on-field lieutenant. The games that the centre-half has missed since joining from Brighton over two years ago are few and far between and so long as he is fit, Goldson is certain to feature against Benfica.

James Tavernier

The Rangers skipper is arguably producing the best performances of his career at the moment and like Barisic, will be asked to attack and defend in equal measure this evening. The Englishman might be a full-back by trade but Tavernier is also one of the most creative players at Ibrox with 10 goals and six assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this term.

Steven Davis

The experienced midfielder excels at keeping the ball and remaining calm in the face of pressure from the opposition, and is a must-pick for Gerrard. Benfica are likely to control a lot of the ball and press aggressively when they lose it - having a calm head like Davis in the middle of the park could make all the difference for the Premiership leaders.

Ryan Jack

Gerrard is blessed with an abundance of options in midfield but there is perhaps only one player who is a guaranteed starter in Rangers' biggest games. Jack has improved significantly under the guidance of Gerrard and seems to relish the big games - he'll be one of the first picks for the Rangers boss.

Glen Kamara

A player who has often flown under the radar in Govan but one who, like Davis, possesses excellent technical ability and is tidy with the ball at his feet. Gerrard will need his midfielders to remain calm and composed in possession in Lisbon tonight, and Kamara is certainly that.

Ryan Kent

The former Liverpool winger hasn't quite been able to maintain his blistering start to the campaign in terms of goals and assists but there is no doubt that Kent is one of the dangerous options Gerrard has available to him. Kent's pace makes him a real threat on the counter and as he showed against Braga in the last 32 of last year's competition, he has the ability to provide a game-changing moment of brilliance at the drop of a hat.

Joe Aribo

The Nigeria internationalist hasn't featured loads recently after picking up an ankle injury in September but has been on the road to recovery and could get the nod this evening. Aribo hasn't played in Europe for Rangers this season but started both of his side's most recent league outings against Livingston and Kilmarnock.

Alfredo Morelos

Kemar Roofe's stunning strike against Standard Liege will certainly have given Gerrard food for thought but it seems inevitable that Morelos will lead the line in Lisbon this evening. The Colombian came off the bench to grab the winner against Lech Poznan last time around and is just one goal away from breaking Ally McCoist's club record of 21 goals in European competition.
