SCOTT BAIN 6: Beaten by Gallagher's header, but ball zipped off slick surface so couldn't be blamed. Handling sound otherwise.

JEREMIE FRIMPONG 7: Was a livewire up the right until momentum halted by Cole challenge. Played on but fears he may have picked up an injury.

KRISTOFFER AJER 7: Back in the team and defended well, with two crucial interventions in the first half. Groin problem flared up again though and forced off.

NIR BITTON 6: Lost Gallagher for Motherwell goal but used the ball well and stood up to crosses that home side were throwing in.

DIEGO LAXALT 8: Two goal-line clearances at start of second half then last-gasp tackle prevented certain goal for Lang. Vital contribution.

SCOTT BROWN 8: Much more like it from the Celtic captain who rediscovered his old swagger.

CALLUM MCGREGOR 6: Still not as influential as he can be after a below-par performance in midweek, but going back in right direction.

RYAN CHRISTIE 7: Played his part in Celtic's first two goals and should have had at least one to his own name.

TOM ROGIC 8: Another masterful show from the Australian. Another assist to his name and much more besides. Unplayable at times.

MOI ELYOUNOUSSI 9: Hat-trick hero answered his critics in fine style. Good positioning for first two and then great header for third.

ALBIAN AJETI 7: Held the ball up well and put in a decent shift for the cause.
