STEVEN GERRARD had no issue with a sign of frustration from Alfredo Morelos as he showed his disappointment at being substituted on Sunday.
The striker was replaced by Jermain Defoe midway through the second half at Ibrox as Rangers ran out commanding 4-0 winners against Aberdeen.
Morelos had few chances as forward partners Ryan Kent and Kemar Roofe netted in the first half before Scott Arfield and James Tavernier scored after the break.
The Colombian cut an unhappy figure as he made his way to the dugout and, when asked about the reaction at having to come off, Gerrard said: “Is he ever? I can’t work it out. We’re 4-0 up, we’ve played well. His team-mate is about to come on.
“We’ve got a big game on Thursday. I don’t know. You’ll have to ask Alfredo why he was a bit sad. I was really happy.”
