RANGERS have received a double fitness boost ahead of their Betfred Cup clash with Falkirk as midfield duo Bongani Zungu and Joe Aribo get set to return.
The pair missed the 2-2 draw with Benfica on Thursday night as Steven Gerrard's side took another step towards a place in the Europa League knock-out rounds.
Zungu was absent through a knee problem, while Gerrard confirmed after the game that Aribo had been suffering from illness.
Both are expected to be part of the squad for the Bairns tie but fellow midfielder Ryan Jack will be absent once again.
Assistant boss Gary McAllister addressed the media on Friday morning and confirmed the update as attentions switch to Falkirk this weekend.
🎙️ GM: Zungu will train today, Joe Aribo is better today and hopeful he arrives back into training tomorrow. Ryan Jack won't be around for the weekend.
