Charlie Adam reckons Celtic will stick with Neil Lennon in charge - as there are no other viable options.

The Hoops manager is under fire with supporters after a string of poor results, most recently a shock 4-1 defeat to Sparta Prague in the Europa League last week. The same score line which befell Celts when they met at Parkhead.

Domestically Celtic have also dropped valuable points with draws against Hibs, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock. And some fans have called for Lennon's head including the Green Brigade after they fell 11 points behind rivals Rangers

Former Rangers midfielder Adam, however, believes the Celtic hierarchy will back their boss because there is no other managers out there who would be able to replace Lennon and 'wave a magic wand' to fix the problems at Parkhead right now, with 10 in a row on the line.

Adam said: "I think they will give Neil the opportunity to turn it around because I don’t think there is anybody out there that would come in and wave a magic wand and make any difference. I think they have got to stick with what they have got and hope the players can find some confidence or form from somewhere within the group and turn it around."

Speaking on PLZ Soccer he went on: "At the moment, if you look at it, they are not in a good position, but we keep going back to if they win both games, which Celtic can, it is only five points and it is not a big, big difference. It is going to be tough, but I still think they will stick to Neil and I don’t think there is anybody out there."
