VASILIS BARKAS 5: Took a step the wrong way to be beaten on his side by Calhanoglu’s free-kick, but no chance with other goals. Got away with massive passing error. Unconvincing showing.

HATEM ELHAMED 5: Linked up well with Frimpong going forward on the right, but beaten far too easily by Hauge for Milan’s third and then again for the fourth.

KRISTOFFER AJER 6: Was slow to react for Milan’s second goal and wasn’t aggressive enough in the air. Comfortable in possession and so impressive stepping out with ball, but defensively frail.

NIR BITTON 6: Didn’t close down Hauge early enough for Milan’s third, but one-on-one defending was

DIEGO LAXALT 7: All action down the left and would have impressed his parent club with his endeavour against Castillejo.

SCOTT BROWN 6: Captain started the match well and imposed himself on midfield, but influence waned as Milan got to grips with game.

CALLUM MCGREGOR 6: Great chance squandered just before Celtic’s second. Passing wasn’t quite as crisp as usual, but

JEREMIE FRIMPONG 7: Deployed ahead of Elhamed and enjoyed the freedom, getting into great advanced positions. Didn’t always have final ball, but could have found his best position at last.

TOM ROGIC 7: Showed just what he brings to the party by gobbling up an early AC Milan error to fire into Donnarumma’s bottom corner. Whistled another curling effort just past moments later.

RYAN CHRISTIE 6: Booked for wild challenge on Rebic that led to AC Milan’s first goal. Wasted great chance on counter overhitting pass to Frimpong, but was better after the break. Unlucky with free-kick.

ODSONNE EDOUARD 8: Has been missing for most of the season, but is finally turning it on with an exquisite finish to put Celtic two up. Showed great touch and led the line well.
