Both Celtic and Rangers have been credited with a shock interest in Manchester United outcast Jesse Lingard.
The England international has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and is expected to exit the English giants during the January window.
A report by teamTALK has now suggested that both sides of the Old Firm are "looking into the possibility" of bringing the 27-year-old to Scotland.
It has been reported that Lingard is currently earning £100,000 a week with the Red Devils, despite not being named in a league squad since October.
Sky Sports say Manchester United are in talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad about a possible move.
