Reports this morning have suggested that Rangers have approached Chelsea in a bid to land Billy Gilmour on loan.
The former Ibrox youngster left Glasgow for the London giants in 2017 and has been a major hit in both the Premier and Champions League for his new side.
A recent injury problem has sent him down the Stamford Bridge pecking order however, and The Scottish Sun claim that Chelsea want to send him out on loan.
A report this morning suggests that Rangers have approached the Blues in a bid to bring Gilmour back to Ibrox for the remainder of this season.
Speaking about the possibility of sending Gilmour on loan, Frank Lampard said: “I’m not sure about a loan. The way Billy trains and plays I can see him with us.
“So I have to make sure the pathway is right. We have to think about what’s best.”
