Celtic defender Hatem Elhamed is set for a shock exit from Parkhead this January, according to reports.
The Israeli defender made the switch to Glasgow from Hapoel Be’er Sheva last summer for a fee of £1.6million.
And since his move he has been seperated from his family, who are still living in his homeland.
The Scottish Sun report that Elhamed has failed to settle down to life in Glasgow and it is understood that he is now looking for a route out of Scotland.
The article also states that the 29-year-old could move back to Maccabi Tel-Aviv, where he started his footballing career.
It is understood that a move could hinge on whether Celtic can find an appropriate replacement ahead of the January window.
