But Arveladze has now stepped down from his position at the Pakhtakor Central Stadium as he thanked supporters and his former board for their backing.
The Ibrox hero announced the news on his Instagram page on Monday evening and said: "Three years have passed. Today I resign my position at Pakhtakor.
I’m grateful for three exciting, beautiful and successful years.
"Thank you to the fans, the team, players, stuff and to all who have supported us. I would like to thank Bobur Shodiev, Ulugbek Mukhamedov, Dmitry Adisman and the Pakhtakor board for the opportunity to have managed this club.
