Jamie Carragher reckons the Premiership is as good as over as Celtic have NO chance of catching Rangers.

The Light Blues have opened up a 16 point lead at the top of the table under Steven Gerrard and Carra is certain his old pal will see it out and end Celtic's quest for 10 in a row.

Gers have not lost in the league this campaign, having only dropped points in two matches. Their only defeat came away to St Mirren in the Betfred Cup. Meanwhile Neil Lennon's side have already lost once to their rivals and drawn four games.

It is set to take a monumental fight back from Celts if they are to stand a chance of overturning the deficit, but Carragher believes they are already beaten.

Speaking on Open Goal, the Champions League winner said: "It doesn't look like it's happening. He's [Neil Lennon] got to win the next three Old Firms and that's not happening. Two of them are at Ibrox."

Carragher, addressing Paul Slane, added: "If Celtic win the league you can come and stay here [in his house] for a year. Or we can house swap. It's not a problem, you have absolutely no chance."
