CONOR HAZARD 7:
Weekend penalty shootout hero retained his place and dealt with what little came his way well enough. Showed good hands, though wasn’t exactly overworked.
JEREMIE FRIMPONG 8:
Constant threat down the right and produced a brilliant assist for Turnbull for Celtic’s opener.
CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN 7:
Gave Stewart one early sniff of a chance, but was handling him well otherwise until injury forced the striker from the action. Replacement Shaw didn’t come close to troubling him.
KRISTOFFER AJER 7:
Back in his more familiar central defensive role and strolled through the evening. Got a few chances to stride forward too as he loves to do.
DIEGO LAXALT 6:
Industrious enough down the left, but didn’t quite carry the same threat as Frimpong on the other wing. Not bad, but not great either.
ISMAILA SORO 7:
Back in for captain Brown and anchored the diamond midfield well with his customary energy and exuberance.
CALLUM MCGREGOR 8:
Was the fulcrum for much of Celtic’s attacking play and showcased a wonderful range of passing.
RYAN CHRISTIE 7:
Willing to shoot from almost anywhere, which produces a mixed bag of results. Radar a little off here, but still bagged an assist.
DAVID TURNBULL 8:
Got his first league goal for the club with a nice finish to open the scoring, but overall play was impressive again. Celtic fans may be asking why it was deep into winter before they saw him regularly.
ODSONNE EDOUARD 7:
Tried hard to get on the ball and came close on a few occasions.
LEIGH GRIFFITHS 7:
Struggled to find space in the first half, but burst into life after the restart. Missed two great chances before burying more difficult third with fine header.
SUBSTITUTES
OLIVIER NTCHAM 4: Part of triple change for last 20 minutes but couldn’t make impact.
TOM ROGIC 4: Like Ntcham, didn’t really effect the game.
MIKEY JOHNSTON 5: Brightest of the subs, showing tricky feet.
ALBIAN AJETI 3: Not a sniff.
