Scott Allan has confirmed he is back in training with Hibs after being ruled out with a 'mystery illness' back in September.
The midfielder was struck down with an issue deemed a 'private and confidential' matter by manager Jack Ross. And his last appearance came on August 30 in a home defeat to Aberdeen.
Today as Hibs prepare to face Rangers at Ibrox, Allan confirmed on Sky Sports - while working as a pundit for the afternoon - that he is relieved and excited about finally being back among his teammates on the training pitch.
"I'm good, I'm back training so I've got something to look forward to in the New Year for me," the ex-Celtic ace said. "I'd love to be out playing but unfortunately it's the studio for me. I'm still looking forward to it, should be a cracker.
"I had a substantial time out there so being back on the training park has given me something to look forward to. I can't wait to get started."
