Kieran Tierney was instrumental as Arsenal ended a horror run of results with a victory over Frank Lampard's Chelsea yesterday.
The Gunners had not tasted victory in the Premier League since November 1 but they ran out 3-1 winners against their bitter rivals at the Emirates.
Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring from the penalty spot before a fine Granit Xhaka free-kick doubled the lead before the interval.
When Bukayo Saka’s misplaced cross flew in, the game looked to be sewn up. But Chelsea rallied, pulling a goal back when VAR overruled the assistant referee’s offside call to grant Tammy Abraham’s late effort before substitute Jorginho missed an injury-time penalty.
Tierney celebrated yesterday's win by posting a photo of his shin guards on Instagram, which featured his former side Celtic.
The Scotland international moved from the Hoops to the Gunners last summer for a fee of £25million.
The shin pads included the Celtic badge and Tierney's old Celtic squad number 63. They also were detailed with the Arsenal crest and his new number 3.
