Kieran Tierney was a standout for Arsenal as they earned a 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend - and his former Celtic teammates were quick to let him know.
The likes of captain Scott Brown and Filip Benkovic were among those who heaped praise on the left-back after he won a penalty for a foul by Reece James, from which the Gunners opened the scoring.
Tierney spent the 90 minutes flying up and down the left-flank and earned rave reviews from the pundits on Sky Sports, too, including Gary Neville and commentator Martin Tyler. But it was Brown and Benkovic - as well as some of KT's Arsenal teammates - who applauded his showing.
The defender posted a photo from the action on social media, saying: "Solid win," to which Brown replied: "Flying pal". Benkovic added: "You machine brother."
Thomas Partey shared muscle emojis and Tierney's favourite singer-songwriter, Gerry Cinnamon, couldn't help but get in on the action by calling Tierney 'bossman'.
Arsenal played above their position in the table with a 3-1 win over Frank Lampard's Blues at the Emirates. Alexander Lacazette scored from the spot after Tierney was bowled over before Granit Xhaka struck a perfect free-kick into the top corner. Bukayo Saka then made it 3-0 before a late goal from Tammy Abraham cut the lead.
Jorginho missed a late penalty for the visitors.
