RANGERS star Scott Arfield will undergo a scan today to determine the severity of the ankle damage that he suffered against Hibernian on Saturday.
And fellow midfielder Ryan Jack will again miss out on the squad for the Premiership clash with St Mirren as he continues to work his way back from a knee injury.
Arfield was forced off just minutes after his introduction in the weekend win at Ibrox as he received treatment on the park before being replaced by Bongani Zungu.
Rangers are still awaiting confirmation of the full extent of the injury but are hopeful that the ankle knock is not as bad as initially feared.
Gary McAllister has arrived to speak to the media.

🎙️ GM: Scott Arfield is on his way to get a scan and we are awaiting results. It was disappointing to see him leave the pitch and hopeful the scan is not too bad. We are still going to have to be patient with Ryan Jack.
There remains concern over Jack, however. The Scotland international has not featured for the Light Blues since the win over Aberdeen last month as boss Steven Gerrard expressed his frustration with the recovery of one of his key men.
Rangers return to Paisley on Wednesday afternoon aiming to make amends for their Betfred Cup quarter-final defeat to the Buddies earlier this month as they suffered their only loss of the campaign so far.
