LIAM GORDON has penned a contract extension with St Johnstone.
The central defender and boyhood Saints fan will remain at McDiarmid Park until at least the end of the 2021/22 season.
Gordon who has skippered the Perth outfit on numerous occasions this season spoke of his delight after extending his stay with Callum Davidson’s side.
He said: “I’m delighted to sign a contract extension and will now continue to focus on getting us up that league table where we belong.
“St. Johnstone is a club that everyone knows is very close to me and my family’s heart. I’ll continue to give my all for the badge on my chest.”
Gordon scored his first goal for the club against Aberdeen on Boxing Day in the Scottish Premiership.
