RYAN JACK has returned to full training with the Rangers squad ahead of their clash with Motherwell this weekend as Scott Arfield steps up his rehabilitation from an ankle injury.

Gerrard's side make the trip to Fir Park on Sunday aiming for a 17th consecutive Premiership win to move them a step closer to title glory this term.

The Light Blues have beaten Celtic and Aberdeen so far in 2021 as they have continued their unbeaten start to the campaign and extended their lead over their Old Firm rivals to 21 points.

Jack has not featured since the win over the Dons in November but has now rejoined Gerrard's squad as he looks to return to action following a persistent knee issue.

Fellow midfielder Scott Arfield is still a couple of weeks away from fitness but Kemar Roofe is set to rejoin the Light Blues ranks next week.

Elsewhere, defender George Edmundson has been ruled out for at least three weeks and Niko Katic continues to make progress on the road to recovery from his cruciate knee ligament surgery.
