Rangers have denied interest in Coventry midfielder Gustavo Hamer.
The Ibrox outfit had been linked with a potential swoop for the Brazilian-born midfield ace who joined Coventry last year in a £1.2million switch.
But now a source within the club has refuted those claims, saying: "There's nothing in this at all." Hamer, 23, has made 21 appearances in light blue since leaving PEC Zwolle in the Netherlands.
While Hamer is not a target for Steven Gerrard or sporting director Ross Wilson, one player who could be a Rangers man by the end of January is Aberdeen's Scott Wright.
The Dons attacker is out of contract this summer and could be offered a pre-contract at Ibrox, though he could also potentially move for a fee this window.
Gerrard had admitted he is interested in the player and is likely to make his move.
