The Joint Response Group have asked all Scottish Premiership and Chamoionship clubs to conduct a review of their coronavirus protocols.

The request from the body comes after Celtic boss Neil Lennon attacked clubs' matchday arrangements to deal with social distancing during the pandemic.

Lennon took aim at facilities among some of the top tier clubs in the country, claiming his players had been forced to sit in changing rooms beside each other 'like sardines'. He also claimed there was no correct social distancing in place at Hamilton.

The Accies, as well as St Johnstone, took umbrage with Lennon's comments and issued responses, but now the JRG has requested all clubs in the top two leagues send details of their facilities, including room dimensions, according to Sky Sports.

A spokesperson for the JRG told Sky: "A letter was sent to clubs following a request by member clubs at the recent SPFL general meting."

We told recently how Ian Maxwell, SFA chief, wrote to Championship clubs asking if they wanted to continue playing or suspend their league.
