Celtic look set to give Neil Lennon the rest of the season in charge before an 'overhaul of football operations' in the summer, according to reports.

The manager is under immense pressure this season with his side 20 points behind Rangers in what was one of the biggest campaigns in recent years thanks to the 10 in a row hopes.

His team dropped more points away to Livingston this week, in a 2-2 draw, to record their third stalemate in a row following defeat to their rivals at Ibrox. Defiant Lennon insisted he won't walk away from the club despite some fans calling for his head and the club board recently gave him a vote of confidence and urged supporters to get behind the team.

A review was also set by the hierarchy where they claimed they would consider the position. But now, according to the Daily Mail, the decision looks like Lennon will remain in charge until the summer, at least.

The publication reports that an overhaul of their operations will then take place which could signal the end for Lennon. It could also mean a shake-up in recruitment and backroom staff.

Lennon recently had a conversation - which he wanted to remain private - with chief executive Peter Lawwell over his furious press conference this week where he took aim at the media, Andy Walker, the Scots government and other clubs for their Covid-19 protocols.
