Alfredo Morelos has been charged by the SFA over his alleged stamp on Hibs defender Ryan Porteous.

El Buffalo was facing retrospective action and has now been charged by the governing body. He could now be banned for three games for the flashpoint.

A panel viewed the incident as part of their fast-track process and he was slapped with a charge for violent conduct. The club has until Monday to appeal.

Meanwhile Darren McGregor avoided any charge for a coming together between himself and Gers midfielder Glen Kamara in the same game.

We told how Kris Boyd and Andy Walker both felt Morelos should have saw red for his challenge on Porteous on the night, though Kevin Clancy did not flash any card at the time.
