RANGERS will challenge the Scottish FA disciplinary case against striker Kemar Roofe following his citing last week.
Roofe was issued with a Notice of Complaint on Friday regarding his challenge on Murray Davidson during the win over St Johnstone at Ibrox.
Referee David Munro booked Roofe for the tackle but a Hampden hearing will now determine if he will face any further action that could see him miss two matches.
Roofe came off the bench during the 1-1 draw with Hamilton on Sunday and boss Steven Gerrard said: “We are going to appeal it. We have analysed the situation, not just the tackle."
