INTER MILAN striker Romelu Lukaku was left seriously impressed by a display of sportsmanship from Rangers star Alfredo Morelos - so much so that the former Manchester United ace posted on social media applauding the Colombian.
Rangers were drawing 1-1 with Antwerp in their last-32 Europa League tie on Thursday evening, with Lukaku watching on from home to cheer on his brother Jordan, who plays for the Belgian side.
Towards the end of the first half, Morelos burst forward on the counter-attack and was through on goal when Antwerp defender Jeremy Gelin pulled up with what looked like a pulled muscle.
Without a moment's thought, Morelos kicked the ball out of play so his opponent could get treatment - leading Lukaku to tell of his admiration of Morelos and his sportsmanship.
Fair play to morelos from glasgow rangers. Through on goal and stopping for an injury of the opponent.. great sportsmanship 👏🏿👏🏿
