DAVD Turnbull has dismissed Neil Lennon's claim that Celtic's players are "lacking bravery" - but has admitted the Parkhead club must perform far better between now and the end of the 2020/21 campaign. 

Lennon was annoyed that his charges failed to clear a Harry Paton free-kick into their penalty box in the second-half of their Premiership match against Ross County in Dingwall last Sunday. 

And the Northern Irishman was incensed that nobody blocked Jordan White before the County striker headed home what ended up being the winning goal.

Asked for a response to the accusation, Turnbull said: "Maybe one or two players switched off at the moment Neil was speaking about, but I would not say there is a lack of bravery. I wouldn't say that.

“The result last weekend did hurt a little. Looking forward it is just has to be game at a time and we will hopefully do the business.”
