Arsenal Invincible Ray Parlour has tipped Kieran Tierney to become a future Gunners captain.
Ex-Celtic defender Tierney has become a fan favourite with Arsenal during his time at the Emirates after joining the club last year. His performances have earned rave reviews, even in trying times for Mikel Arteta's side as they sit 10th in the Premier League table.
Tierney is among the select few who more often than not get pass marks on match day, even in defeat, and Parlour reckons that's because the Scotland cap has the right attitude for an Arsenal player.
The 23-year-old provides both attacking and defensive talent and has brought, from Parkhead, a winning mentality. Something Parlour says has been missing. Speaking on talkSPORT the Englishman said: "I really like his attitude. He turns up every week, you can see the desire when he’s playing; he really wants to win every game.
"(KT) gives 100 per cent and is fantastic down that left hand side. That’s where Arsenal are most dangerous, that’s where the deliveries come from into the box. He’s been a brilliant signing, and he’s a really good lad as well; he’s really down to earth.
"He could probably be the Arsenal captain in the future."
