Robbie Brady would JUMP at the chance to sign for Celtic, according to his former teammate Paul Robinson.

The Irish winger has been linked with a potential free switch to Parkhead with his Burnley contract expiring this summer. Herald and Times Sport understands there have been tentative conversations between the player's representatives and the Hoops' recruiters, and Robinson believes Brady would love the opportunity to sign at Parkhead.

Speaking to Football Insider the retired goalkeeper, a former Clarets pal of Brady, said: "He is a fantastic player, a hard-working winger who has a fantastic delivery on him. I know it is a move (to Celtic) that he would really love as well with his Irish background. I think the chance of playing at Celtic would be a big draw for him and one that would be difficult to turn down.

"He has had his injury problems this season and he has been in and out of the team. To let his contract run this far down tells me that he is probably leaving. A move to Celtic would work. There is going to be an overhaul there this summer but I think Robbie would be a great addition regardless of who comes in."

Brady may have to wait to find out if any new Celtic manager wants him in the squad, with the likes of John Kennedy, Enzo Maresca and Eddie Howe all being touted with the job this summer.
