GLEN Kamara has become a fans favourite at Rangers by helping his side win their 55th league title.
The Finnish international has matured this season as a player and has become integral to his side’s success in Europe.
Only a year on from struggling at Ibrox against Portuguese outfit Braga in last season’s Europa League, the 25-year-old has been a standout in most of Rangers’ matches on the continent.
After arriving for a £50,000 in January of 2019, a deal which must be considered to be one of Steven Gerrard’s best, he has revered himself with the Ibrox fanbase for his style of play and significant development at Ibrox.

But it has taken Kamara time to begin to perform at a level that his talent suggested he always would. Before his move to Rangers, he was out of favour at Dundee and had previously played for Colchester and Southend United.
One man who has always known that Kamara would play at a high level is Alex Iwobi, who like Kamara came through the youth ranks at Arsenal.
Their career’s may have taken slightly different directions, with Iwobi moving for a marginally bigger £40 million to Everton in 2019, but according to the Nigerian international Kamara’s quality always suggested he was destined for big things.
When asked the most underrated player he had ever played with, Iwobi said: “Glen Kamara. Most underrated ever. Ask anyone that was at Arsenal. You can ask anyone they can vouch.”
Tomi Adeloye agreed with the opinion: “When he was on loan and I used to speak to {at Colchester and Southend} people were saying that he used to do things in training that no-one could ever imagine doing.”
Alex Iwobi was speaking on the Footy 258 YouTube channel.
