Willie Collum has been named referee for this month's Celtic vs Rangers clash at Parkhead.
The whistler will take charge of the derby match for the first time since 2019 when he was the man in the middle of the Betfred Cup final between the two sides. Hoops defender Jeremie Frimpong was sent off that afternoon for a last-man challenge.
Collum also sent off Jozo Simunovic in an earlier clash in Glasgow back in 2018.
There are worries that the derby may still be postponed after the Scottish government revealed they would seek assurances that supporters would not descend on the stadium in their thousands.
Fears over safety Covid protocols being broken have been amplified after Gers supporters congregated outside Ibrox and then at George Square last week when they secured their first title win in 10 years.
