PARTICK THISTLE will wear a special commemorative shirt for their third-round trip to Dundee United this weekend to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Glasgow club's sole Scottish Cup triumph.
The Jags lifted the trophy for the one and only time in their history back courtesy of a 1-0 win over Rangers in 1921, with John Blair scoring the game's only goal.
The club have released an all-navy shirt, similar to the one they wore that day, without any sponsors on it, and the new kit will get its first showing this Saturday.
The Thistle players will also wear the kit when they face Montrose on league duty on 17 April - the closest fixture to the anniversary of the final on 16 April.
The replica strip, designed by kit supplier O'Neill's, is available for purchase via the Greaves Sports website, as are similarly-branded hats, scarves, t-shirts, hoodies and jackets.
In a statement published on the League One club's website, Thistle thanked their sponsors "for their assistance and understanding in making this commemorative kit as close to the original as possible" by keeping the shirt plain.
