EDDIE HOWE has yet to make a firm decision on his future but the former Bournemouth boss has turned to Brendan Rodgers to seek advice on a potential switch, according to reports.
The Englishman has been out of work since leaving the Cherries at the end of the 2019/20 season when his side were relegated from the Premier League, and has long been linked with a move to Parkhead.
Neil Lennon resigned from his post back in February with first-team coach John Kennedy being placed in charge in the interim, as the search for Lennon's successor continues behind the scenes in Glasgow's east end.
Howe is believed to be the board's first choice and the 43-year-old has spoken to the hierarchy at the club but is still believed to be considering his options, with rumours suggesting that he may be biding his time and holding out for the Crystal Palace job this summer, should current Selhurst Park manager Roy Hodgson leave at the end of the campaign.
It's getting closer and closer to decision time for Howe - with the Daily Mirror reporting that he has asked former Hoops boss Rodgers for advice over the next step in his career.
The Northern Irishman was hugely successful during his time in Scotland, winning every domestic trophy on offer and even going an entire season unbeaten in his first campaign in charge of Celtic.
But Rodgers left Parkhead under a cloud after the 48-year-old quit the club in February 2019 to up sticks and join Leicester City - a decision that some supporters have never forgiven him for.
