STEVEN GERRARD played down a brief touchline row of words with John Kennedy as Rangers beat Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox on Sunday.
The champions took another step towards clinching a Premiership and Scottish Cup double with a deserved fourth round victory.
Steven Davis opened the scoring for Rangers before a Jonjoe Kenny own goal proved to be a blow from which Celtic couldn't recover.

Gerrard and Kennedy would exchange words from their respective technical areas in the closing minutes of the Ibrox clash.

But the Rangers boss insists it was nothing out of the ordinary given the rivalry between the teams and the prize that was at stake.
Gerrard said: “Listen, there’s a lot of trash talk on the pitch.
"At times, there is trash talk on the sides. Sometimes that’s Celtic’s fault, sometimes that’s our fault.

“Emotions are running high, there’s a lot at stake. It is what it is but it’s not the first time that’s happened, is it?
“No, I’m not going to give you any headlines on that one.”
