Nikola Katic has shared footage of inside the Ibrox gym as he continues his gruelling work towards a comeback.

The Rangers defender has not played a minute of football this season in his side's memorable Premiership victory after a long-term knee injury kept him out.

Croatian Katic, 24, had been nearing said comeback before aggravating the issue and being kept out for longer.

He had been sent home to Croatia earlier this season with permission from manager Steven Gerrard, but now he is baonck in Glasgow and straight back to the hard graft.

Sharing a short clip of himself on a stepmill, he captioned it: "Feel the pain".

Katic's return, whenever it may be, will represent somewhat of a new signing feel with the centre-half not kicking a ball since March last year.

He will return to join SFWA player of the year nominee Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, Jack Simpson and Leon Balogun at the heart of the defence.
