Si Ferry has revealed the one player he still cannot believe couldn't earn himself a deal after a trial at Celtic.
The midfielder was a youth ace at Parkhead when Spaniard Iván de la Peña was looking to make a mark for manager Martin O'Neill and land a contract.
De la Peña, formerly of Espanyol, Barcelona and Lazio, had Ferry and his fellow youngsters sprinting to watch him in training with the first-team. And the Peterhead ace still can't believe O'Neill didn't sign him.
Speaking on Open Goal, Ferry said: "I first went to Celtic, the best trialist I've ever seen in my life, I can't believe he never got a deal, de la Peña. He was f***ing brilliant. We used to run up from youth team training to watch the first-team, to watch him train. Never got a deal.
"You know when someone never passes with the inside of the foot? He was just schmingin'(sic) it everywhere, man, with his laces. He wasn't really a Martin O'Neill type player, a central midfielder. Ability wise though, oh my God. He played for Spain a few times, and Barca."
