CELTIC supporters paid tribute to Scott Brown from afar this evening as he led the side out at Parkhead for the final time.
The Celtic captain, 35, will end an illustrious 14-year spell with the club this summer when he joins Aberdeen in a player/coach role.
Brown has captained Celtic to Nine-in-a-Row as well as a Quadruple Treble during his tenure.
This trophyless season has been a disappointing end to Brown’s time at Celtic, compounded by the absence of supporters, which means fans won’t be present to thank one of the club’s greatest ever captains tonight.
Despite the fact a crowd was not present, flags and banners were draped around the ground to honour Brown.
The Celtic team all wore a special commemorative jersey, on which "Captain. Leader. Legend. 2007-2021” was engraved.
