CELTIC legend Scott Brown was left red-faced after making an on-air gaffe following his side’s match with St Johnstone tonight.
The Celtic captain was making his final home appearance after 14 years at the club. In that time, he has led Celtic to Nine-In-A-Row and an unprecedented Quadruple Treble.
After what has been a disappointing season collectively for his side, Celtic turned on the style to put four past St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
Brown, who was substituted in the 63rd minute, was being questioned about a song choice post-match when he made the blunder.
Not realising the interview he was about to partake in was live, he said: “Play that song again that’s a great tune. Just put Scooter on, f*** me.”
"Fuck me. Just put scooter on..." asks Broony. @ScottBrown8 Whoops! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/W7xzBhFME6

Although Celtic fans were not in attendance, they were able to pay tribute to one of their best ever captains by draping Parkhead in banners.
